The Web Surgery launch Rosie Ribbons and MC Neat

By Web Design, Web Design UK

The Web Surgery have designed and launched the MySpace account for Ex ‘Pop Idol’ contestant Rosie Ribbons and MOBO winner MC Neat for their collaboration together on new dance single: Turning Point.

‘Turning Point’ is a collaboration with ex ‘Pop Idol’ contestant, Rosie Ribbons and 90s urban artist and MOBO Winner, MC Neat, who had a top 10 chart hit with “With a Little Bit of Luck”.

‘Turning Point’ is a funky, positive, uplifting song that will inspire the listener to feel that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, no matter what they are going through. ‘Turning Point’ is all about being positive, believing in yourself and taking charge of your own future!

The single was produced and directed by Dominic Daniel who launched Just Like Dis Productions in 2008. Dominic added, “This is a positive and uplifting song that has been inspired by the realisation that life is what you make it. If things are not going to plan, then it is ONLY you who can make the changes to bring you to the TURNING POINT in your life. Once you have reached your turning point, it is up to you what you attract. The more positivity you send out, the more positive the changes will be”.

Rosie Ribbons is a singer/songwriter born in Australia and brought up in Wales. In 2001 Rosie left her rural settings and travelled to London for an audition that would bring her vocal and writing talents to the attention of the nation and industry alike, in the first series of ‘Pop Idol’. After a moving rendition of Mariah Carey’s ‘Hero’ and herself penned song ‘Colors’, Pete Waterman, a judge on the show was infamously moved to tears. After months of auditions Rosie secured a spot in the final ten alongside household names such as Will Young and Gareth Gates.

Born in London, Michael Anthony Rose (aka MC Neat) was always involved in music. By far one of the most distinctive voices in the UK Urban Market, MC Neat has lent his voice to some of the biggest Urban hits the UK has produced for over a decade, growing as an artist from the pirate scene, through to mainstream, the garage movement and now moving into a more mature, edgy but always distinctive style.

As a teenager, Neat spent his time writing stories and soon developed these stories into poetry. Eventually, his poetry became the foundation of his lyrical flow and Neat began performing at parties; all by the time he was fifteen.

Through school and into his working life, Neat kept pursuing his music to the point where he had virtually a second life, playing all over London’s club and pirate radio scene. It was here that Neat decided that music was where he wanted to be.
