Barnes Music Festival | Launch New Website

By The Web Surgery, Web Design, Web Design Richmond, Web Design UK, Website Design Business, Website Maintenance

Barnes Music Festival launch new website

The Web Surgery are pleased to announce the launch of the new website for the Barnes Music Festival – www.barnesmusicfestival.com

We were asked to create and launch a new website for the Barnes Music Festival which had a clean, simple, sophisticated and alternative feel.  The website we created has a detailed programme of events, ablity to purchase tickets online, video, news features, travel details and interviews with the musicians.

The festival is to take place for the first time in March 2013 with the theme “Holst & the English Tradition” celebrating the centenary of Gustav Holst living in Barnes.  The first event starts with Julian Lloyd Webber, described as ‘the doyen of British cellists’ and widely regarded as one of the finest musicians of his generation.  The Barnes Music Festival includes instrumental, choral, jazz and film performances featuring international artists and local groups at venues across the area.

The Patron for the Barnes Music Festival is Howard Goodall CBE who added: “Being local to Barnes, I am thrilled to be associated with the new Barnes Music Festival.  It is a welcome addition to a part of London that has a long music tradition and that counts Gustav Holst as one of its own.”
